The whey protein in Daily Protein Plus Vanilla is sourced from truly grass-fed cows that eat at least 95% grass and are pastured on lush small family farms for 300+ days per year! The cows are not fed any animal by-products or synthetic growth hormones. The whey protein is certified GMO-free, rBST-free, rBGH-free, BSE-free, antibiotic-free.

Through our research, we found that even "grass-fed" cows were typically given animal feed full of grains. Our whey protein is from happy, healthy cows that freely graze on small Irish family farms for at least 300 days per year. Ireland's unique climate provides lush, nutritious grass year-round. If it is too cold for the cows to roam outdoors, they are fed grass silage that is collected from the fields during the summer. Truly grass-fed, pasture-raised whey protein is more nutritious with a higher amount of CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), omega-3 oils, and beta carotene.

Daily Protein Plus™ Vanilla utilizes revolutionary cold-temperature, ceramic cross-flow microfiltration technology, which produces an undamaged (undenatured) whey protein isolate. During the production of whey protein, the goal is to concentrate the active components that support metabolism, muscle health, and immunity. However, extreme care must be taken not to damage these components, meaning the protein must be left in a non-denatured state to have proper biological activity. At the same time, undesirable components such as lactose, fat, and cholesterol must be separated and removed.
