Common Diabetes Drugs Double Fracture Risk
The common diabetes drugs Avandia and Actos are once again in the spotlight. This time, because they double the risk of fracture in women.

Avandia has been in the news these past few years as the corrupt FDA management tried to block its own scientists from putting a warning about congestive heart failure on its label – a warning that is now in place. Such warnings seldom stop doctors from giving out any drug, as if it is candy on Halloween. So this killer drug stays on the market, in widespread use, because people are too lazy to exercise and eat properly – and because inept doctors have no clue how to actually fix anybody who has type II diabetes.

A new study was just published by the Canadian Medical Association Journal1 that shows that women who take these drugs over a period of time have double the risk for fractures. I reported on this emerging side effect over a year ago in my post, Common Diabetes Drug Causes Bone Loss – Medical Profession in a Funk.

The prescription drug culture of America is a disgrace, with Americans being killed and injured as a matter of routine. On the subject of risks versus benefits, it appears far more risky to walk into a doctor’s office, than doing the best you can on your own.
