Drug Companies Embark Upon the Era of Unprecedented Human Experiments
August 6, 2007
The FDA is pushing quite hard to ensure that drug companies have the right to experiment on humans in the name of “progress for all.” This initiative, called the Critical Path Initiative, has recently been endorsed by the birdbrains and gutless cowards that compose the Congress (HR.2900/S.1082).
Under this new plan small groups of humans will be exposed to powerful biological drugs unlike anything in the history of mankind. One of the first disasters occurred in March of 2006 when genetic drug TGN-1412 sent 6 people to the hospital within minutes, causing one man’s head to blow up in size so bad he was described as “the Elephant Man.”
The Washington Post now reports the death of a 36-year-old woman who was the sole participant in another experiment with a biotech drug made of genetically altered viruses. The dead woman’s husband reports she was deceived as to the risks of the experiment. Consumers beware – this is the new era of biotech medicine.
