We're excited to introduce Vital UT, a new supplement for urinary tract health and fluid circulation. This product includes high antioxidant cranberry concentrate, D-mannose, whole mangosteen fruit, and beneficial friendly flora. Cran-Max^® Cranberry Concentrate

The deep red pigment of cranberries contains excellent antioxidant polyphenols known as proanthocyanins (PACs). Cranberry PACs have a particular affinity for the urinary tract. Cranberry proanthocyanidins help stop germs from sticking to mucosal surfaces and helps maintain a healthy urinary tract lining and health of other mucosal membranes.*

Vital UT contains Cran-Max® whole fruit concentrate, standardized to 36mg PACs per serving, an amount shown to inhibit bacterial adhesion to the lining of the bladder.*

Cranberry concentrate also helps make urine pH more acidic which is needed for a healthy urinary tract. This is due to some of the naturally occurring acids contained in cranberry such as hippuric acid and quinic acid. These compounds also help keep calcium and phosphate ions functioning correctly in the kidneys so that calcium stays in proper solution. Cranberries help support normal amounts of calcium oxylate.*

Cranberries also contain arbutin, which has a mild diuretic effect and is thus helpful nutritional support for the kidneys in their effort to maintain natural water balance. Moving stagnant fluid out of the body is important for proper circulation and weight management.*

D-Mannose

We add D-mannose to Vital UT to help aid in urinary tract and bladder health. D-mannose is a simple sugar, naturally occurring in cranberry and pineapple, with unique properties supportive of urinary tract and gut health.* 

It is only minimally metabolized with the remainder excreted in urine. During this process d-mannose helps to cleanse the bladder and supports a healthy mucosal surface in the urinary tract. Since only small amounts are metabolized, it does not effect healthy blood sugar regulation. D-mannose also acts as a prebiotic in the gut, where it supports a healthy balance of bacteria.*

D-mannose, combined with probiotics, has been shown helpful in women and men with bladder irritation and frequency. It supports the natural microbiome and nerve signals in the bladder for comfort and urinary tract functionality.*

Mangosteen Fruit

Mangosteen is a fruit grown in Southeast Asia. It is known as the "queen of fruits" because of its high antioxidant ORAC value. The rind of mangosteen is rich in bioactive compounds called xanthones and oligoproathocyanidins (OPCs). Vital UT contains the entire fruit, thus providing a rich source of all xanthones typically found in this fruit.*

Xanthones and OPCs provide much sought after free radical scavenger support across many different facets, including urinary tract and bladder health. Mangosteen studies also show prized functional support for cholesterol metabolism, blood sugar, weight management, skin health, and more.*

Various cell studies have shown that mangosteen supports the cellular antioxidant defense system as well as modulating NF KappaB, a very important gene signal that helps a cell manage stress effectively.*

LactoSpore^® Probiotic

Vital UT contains a unique and superior form of probiotic called LactoSpore. LactoSpore is a type of “spore” probiotic obtained from Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856. Spore probiotics have distinctive characteristics which make them stable and hardy. Spore probiotics have a temporary resistant outer coating, almost like a buffering agent. This spore coating allows Bacillus coagulans to survive against adverse conditions like heat, cold, chemicals, and UV radiation that may occur during manufacturing and transport.*

Once spore probiotics reach the colon, they return to their natural vegetative form as active Bacillus coagulans. The spore probiotic form improves the Bacillus coagulans capacity to adhere and colonize to the gut and other mucosal linings in the body like the urinary tract and genital region. It helps provide greater number of friendly flora which helps crowd out other challenging bacteria. This presence of robust beneficial flora is vital to the urinary tract health and other tissues.*

Vital UT Dosage

Vital UT is a powder that easily mixes with water. It has a very mild taste. Mix one scoop in water and take one to two times per day. It may be taken daily or on an as-needed basis.
